We call the Big Island Home! As a Native to the Hawaiian Islands, my husband and I fell in love with this area for it's remote beauty & charm. You can really connect with the Aina and feel the Mana around you. We love Hosting Guests from all over the world and making new friends and treat them like our own Ohana for many years!
Our priority has always been to provide our guests with a premier vacation rental experiences and ensure you feel comfortable from the moment you enter Mauna Loa Shores Oceanfront retreats. As you begin preparing for your trip, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

Hale Kai was so cute and exactly what I was looking for! It was peaceful, clean, and in such a beautiful location. It was stocked with dishes, including wine glasses and a wine opener (a must for me!), paper towels, dish soap, sponges, laundry detergent, hair dryer, etc. It is obvious she pays attention to all the details. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the beautiful beach right across the street! 10/10 would recommend!

The condo appeared to have recently been remodeled / updated. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil and small appliance we needed. We enjoyed breakfasts every morning on the lovely lanai where we enjoyed the beautiful songs of the tropical birds.
Bonus - beach toys, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas in the outdoor closet. Also provided were beach towels, coolers, and cooler bags to take to the beach! We were traveling with our young grandsons and it is quite a walk to A-beach for them and us.
